Isakson Statement on 11th Anniversary of Sept. 11 Terror Attacks

U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., today released the following statement on the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks:

"Today we honor our brothers and sisters who perished in New York, in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and at the Pentagon as a result of the senseless attacks of September 11, 2001. We also remember the brave and heroic acts of our citizens, first responders, medical professionals, firefighters and police officers on that day, and we thank the men and women who make tremendous sacrifices to keep us safe today.May we never forget the patriotism that ensued in the days and months following September 11, 2001, when Americans united together to pull our country though one of the most horrific events in our history. Let us carry on this patriotism as we work together to solve the current challenges that our country is facing. May God bless and protect the United States of America."
