Congressman Bob Gibbs Visits with Local Businesses and LCCC to Talk Job Creation

Statement

Date: Aug. 27, 2012
Location: Lakeville, OH

The following is a quote from Congressman Gibbs:

"After visiting three small businesses today, as well as Lorain County Community College, I was able to see how our small business communities are struggling with the current government regulations on business. Ross Environmental, Kalt Manufacturing and Norlake Manufacturing are all small business companies that have been built through generations of hardworking Americans. With the stifling deficit and looming healthcare costs, Ohio's job creators are trying to thrive in an environment filled with uncertainties."

"I was given the opportunity to tour Lorain County Community College and see the steps they are taking to ensure that their students will graduate with the skills employers need and real work experience while studying on campus. Thanks to area business owners students are able to have access to resources such as the college's Richard Desich SMART Commercialization Center for Microsystems and the GLIDE program. Lorain County Community College has given its students the ability to be ready for hire upon graduation with the invaluable skills they have learned."
