Issue Position

I support parents and students having the freedom to choose the school that best meets their needs, regardless of whether that school is public, private or homeschooling. Students and parents should not be locked into dysfunctional educational experiences. If public school systems are incapable of providing the high quality educational services, they should be dissolved and taxpayers funds diverted to support other high quality educational alternatives. Annual evaluation of each child's educational accomplishment, should be taken independent from the teacher's control, and independently assessed.
