Congresswoman Kathy Hochul is pushing legislation that could create jobs across the state.

The Make It in America plan is an idea Hochul says will create jobs, help American manufacturers grow and compete with the global economy.

The overall plan encompasses another bill Hochul has proposed, the Workforce-Ready Educate America Act.

"To encourage partnerships between business and educational institutions and give employers a tax credit and participate in a program that will help students get on the job training," Hochul said.

The overall plan also includes legislation that will give tax cuts to U.S companies that bring jobs back to the United States.

Hochul said the tax incentives will help people "Make it in America."
