More Jobs, Better Services for Hoosier Veterans

Statement

Today, among hundreds of Hoosier heroes at the 94thAnnual American Legion State Convention, I announced my third policy proposal to help put our Hoosier veterans back to work.

I was honored to make this important announcement among so many Hoosier veterans who have gone above and beyond in answering the call of duty. As I have said many times before, we owe our military men and women a debt of gratitude for their sacrifices. We can only begin to repay that debt by taking the best possible care of our veterans and their families.

Should I have the privilege of serving as your next governor, we must continue to honor our military men and women who have put their lives on the line. I will work to help them return successfully to civilian life, more easily access the federal benefits they deserve, and increase access to better educational choices for their children.
