Working on the Local Government Committee and as Vice Chair of the Environment Committee, I've worked for practical solutions that balance the critical need for a sustainable economy with protecting our natural assets. I introduced legislation to create a "SoundCorps" program that restores Puget Sound, streamlines government and creates jobs for veterans and others.
