Issue Position: Jobs and the Economy

Issue Position

Our state's economy has begun to rebound but, we need to ensure we don't return to the same policies that got us into trouble. High taxes and regulations have resulted in businesses leaving Michigan. The result; our children have left at an alarming rate because they can no longer find jobs here at home. As a mother of three, I would love to see my children remain in Michigan and find jobs here. I believe we should continue to create an environment that encourages innovation and entrepreneurship without the government picking winners and losers in the job creation area.
