Boustany Announces $3+ Million Grant for Lafayette Regional Airport

Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr., M.D. (R-South Louisiana), released the following statement after the Lafayette Airport Commission received a grant in the amount of $3,194,550.00 to improve the Lafayette Airport runway safety area:
"This grant provides federal funding for the Lafayette Regional Airport so that it may make improvements to its runway. The money will be used to install engineering system upgrades. I would like to thank Airport Director, Gregory Roberts, for his hard work and effort in working with my office to secure this funding."
