Statement

Date: June 28, 2012
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Larry Bucshon (IN-08) released the following comment in regards to the U.S. House of Representatives votes on contempt charges against Attorney General Eric Holder.

Congressman Bucshon (IN-08) states:

"No one is above the law, including the Attorney General. Official subpoenas for information regarding "Operation Fast and Furious,' in order to complete a thorough investigation, have been issued in accordance to Congress' constitutional authority to issue and enforce subpoenas. I call on Attorney General Holder to lead by example as our nation's top law enforcement official and to respect the request made by Congress and fully comply with the subpoena by turning over all the relevant documents. The family of Officer Terry deserves no less than a full accounting of the facts."
