With a highly skilled workforce and a strong business infrastructure, Wichita is poised for economic growth. But, we must maintain critical elements of that infrastructure in order to protect our aircraft interests and attract new employers to our region. Jean Schodorf is the only candidate in this race who fought to maintain the "Fair Fares" initiative. "Fair Fares" makes air service to Mid-Continent possible. Not only does the airport pump roughly $1 billion into our local economy through jobs, commerce and manufacturing - it is critical to our community's economic role as "Air Capital of the World."
