Issue Position

My immediate goal is to make sure that all Coloradans under 18 years of age have access to quality, affordable health care. This might be difficult to accomplish in the near-term, partially due to the state of the economy. Still, proper health care for our children and teens should help minimize future health problems, which can be many times more expensive to solve at a later date than they might be to diagnose and treat while they are still minor problems. Also, I simply believe that taking care of our children is morally the right thing to do.
