Location: Indianapolis, IN

Today, Joe Donnelly, candidate for U.S. Senate, visited RJE Business Interiors in Indianapolis to talk about the importance of putting Hoosier small business owners before partisan interests.

"I think we need to cut taxes for Indiana job creators like Denny," said Donnelly. "I am pleased to have the opportunity to visit small businesses around our state and hear firsthand what business owners need to continue to grow and thrive. My opponent would rather listen to partisan interest groups that protect tax breaks for big oil companies and huge corporations that ship American jobs overseas. I disagree with this focus and would rather spend my time with the common-sense ideas I get from small businesses like this one."

Denny Sponsel, owner of RJE Business Interiors, said, "I am thrilled that we are asked to engage in this process. It is critical that legislators understand what goes on at the ground level for small businesses."

Donnelly introduced his jobs plan this spring calling for cutting taxes for Indiana job creators. He supports making it easier for Hoosier companies to invest in themselves and their employees.

Richard Mourdock has signed the Americans for Tax Reform pledge, which prohibits ending tax breaks for big oil companies and for corporations that send American jobs overseas.
