As a teacher, I know that for Colorado to succeed in the 21st Century, we need highly skilled and educated workers. It's not right that oil and gas companies are receiving over $300 million in tax breaks in Colorado while we continue to gut the budget for K-12 and higher education. All children in Colorado deserve access to a world class education, and I'll work to make sure they get it.
