Issue Position: Promote Agriculture and Responsible Energy Development

Issue Position

Agriculture is the lifeblood of the Texas economy and we must take steps to ensure its continued success. I will fight to make sure that farmers and ranchers have access to the water and resources they need to continue to be the cornerstone of the Texas economy. I will also work to remove regulations that strangle energy development in our state. I will join those lawmakers who take on Washington and fight to ease the regulations that hinder the development and production of domestic energy. We must continue to drill and produce domestic oil and natural gas products instead of sending our dollars overseas to purchase oil from countries who threaten America.
