McIntyre Announces Almost $4.5 Million for Wilmington International Airport

U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre announced today that Wilmington International Airport has received $4,472,450 in federal funds for infrastructure improvements.
The U.S. Congress has appropriated through the U.S. Department of Transportation $4,472,450 in federal funds for the final phase to extend runway safety area for Runway 17-35.
Congressman McIntyre stated, "Infrastructure is critical to passenger and airplane safety and these federal funds will help the Wilmington Airport in both regards. Congratulations to Director Jon Rosborough and all the fine folks at the airport for their work in securing these funds!"
