Issue Position

As the Vice-Chairman of the Energy and Water Appropriations subcommittee, I believe that domestic energy production is essential to the growth of our economy and the security of our nation. Both finite and renewable sources must be explored and developed to diversify our energy base and lower our reliance on a single source. I will continue to work to reduce regulations and encourage an "All of the Above" energy policy. The Third District is a great example of energy diversity in the variety of energy production facilities, as well as, advanced researchers helping to develop the next generation of energy sources.
