Repeal and Replace the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act ("ObamaCare")

Americans should replace ObamaCare with a "value-based," market-centric healthcare system that puts patients, not the government, in charge of medical decisions. ObamaCare was an unnecessary and ineffective piece of legislation that promised to reduce the cost of healthcare insurance but did exactly the opposite. Value-Based Healthcare reforms will enable more cost-effective delivery of healthcare services in a manner that encourages innovation, improves quality, and expands access. Value-Based Healthcare should be implemented along with other important market reforms that include portability of healthcare insurance, encouraging the use of high-deductable health insurance policies and enabling the purchase of health insurance across state lines.
