Mike has a taken a multifaceted approach to help bring down gas prices. He knows the burden high gas prices place on working families and small businesses. Among the many measures he is supporting include:
Constructing the Keystone pipeline.
Expanding access to the Outer Continental shelf for more production of oil and natural gas.
Releasing oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
Eliminating subsidies for gas and oil companies and using the saved money to rebate individuals and businesses.
Curbing energy speculation that distorts the oil market supplies and drives gas prices higher.
