Indiana State Treasurer and U.S. Senate Candidate Richard Mourdock highlighted today the huge impact on Hoosier jobs caused by ObamaCare and criticized Democratic candidate Joe Donnelly for jeopardizing the $10 billion Hoosier medical device industry because of his support for ObamaCare.

"Congressman Donnelly voted for ObamaCare -- and recently reiterated this support -- and this tax, knowing full well that he was aiding the President's hostile takeover of private healthcare and harming Hoosier families and Hoosier jobs.

"Now that he is running for the U.S. Senate, Congressman Donnelly is trying to deflect attention away from his support for this job-killing tax, but it isn't possible to separate that from his support for ObamaCare," stated Treasurer Mourdock.

Donnelly's loyal support of the President and ObamaCare has negatively affected Hoosiers:

* Opposes 43 Catholic organizations -- including the University of Notre Dame -- that sued the U.S. Dept. of HHS over mandates regarding contraception that conflicted with the moral principles of those organizations.

* Opposes job growth efforts of small businesses because of pending requirements and penalties related to employer sponsored health plans.
