Huizenga Calls For End To Political Games, Bipartisan Solutions To Create Jobs

Statement

Date: May 4, 2012
Location: Washington, DC

Today, Rep. Bill Huizenga (MI-2) issued the following statement on April's national jobs report:

"Today's sub-par jobs report delivered another reminder that President Obama's economic agenda of increased regulation, unbridled spending, and higher taxes has led to more uncertainty and made it increasingly difficult for Americans to find work. While any sign of growth is welcome, it's important to remember that this growth is occurring despite the President's policies, not because of them. In contrast, House Republicans have taken decisive action and laid out the steps necessary to create a pro-growth environment that will empower small business and lessen the regulatory burdens plaguing job creators. It's time for Democrat leaders in Washington, namely President Obama and Senator Reid, to stop playing politics and focus on bipartisan solutions that will get Americans back to work."
