Today U.S. Senator Dean Heller (R-NV) issued the following statement on the 64th anniversary of the State of Israel.
"As Israel celebrates this anniversary, it's important that the United States remains committed to standing by our oldest and strongest ally in the Middle East. Israel has been a friend of the United States for many decades and has consistently promoted the ideals of democracy. This partnership has historically provided invaluable international intelligence that has saved the lives of countless innocent civilians. I will continue to support the State of Israel and its citizens as they strive for peace in the region," said Senator Dean Heller.
