Congressman Reyes Presents USDA Check for $3.6 Million to Colonia Revolution for Water Improvement Projects

Congressman Silvestre Reyes (D-Texas) will join U.S. Department of Agriculture State Director Paco Valentin and local officials to present federal funds totaling $3,618,500 for water development projects in Colonia Revolucion.

"The funds for this project are critical as they will provide potable water to the residents of Colonia Revolucion," said Congressman Reyes. "Water is one of the most pressing public health concerns and is essential for long-term sustainability. If we can secure access to potable water for all people, regardless if you live in the city or rural areas, we will be successful in combating various diseases and the result will be a healthier, stronger more vibrant community."
