Issue Position

With budget deficits at levels never seen before in our country, unemployment at over 9% and a national debt approaching $15 trillion, we must demand responsible leadership that works for our people, not for the power brokers pulling the strings in Washington.

The majority of Americans understand that this fiscal path is unsustainable and must be amended sooner rather than later. I believe that the biggest problem facing our economy is that business owners, especially small business owners, are nervous and reluctant to start hiring again.

The federal government needs to stop spending more money, bailing out large corporations and start helping the growth of small businesses.

This can be achieved thru incentives and fewer regulations, which in turn will help small businesses to create jobs.
