Issue Position: Provide Tax Incentives to Get Parents Involved in their Child's Education

Issue Position

I believe in parents being heavily involved with their child's education. Students whose parents are actively involved in their education are far more likely to succeed and go on to college. But many parents are struggling to pay their bills. I will work to establish tax incentives for employers to allow their employees to take time off, or work a more flexible schedule, so that they can take part in their child's education and school, and see for themselves how their children are learning, and help improve the system. An involved parent is essential to a student's success.
