Issue Position

The education of our children is one of the most important things we can do, we cannot let them down. Our futures are tied into what we do for our children. Having served two terms on the Windsor Board of Education I know for a fact that "one size does not fit all". We are being out paced by so many other countries and we cannot afford to let that be the status quo. I support less Federal Government involvement and more control to the local municipalities, more funding to magnet schools, removing tenure in exchange for better pay for teachers. We as parents need to take a direct part in our children's education and do all we can to make sure that they are achieving so they may be successful in all they do.
