For the last 15 years, Ramiro has been a proponent of improving the region's infrastructure. With more than 1 million people, the Rio Grande Valley continues to be without an Interstate Highway. Ramiro will make it a priority to build an interstate network in the region and to improve the infrastructure of the ports so that communities in the District can be better positioned to compete in the global marketplace.
