Issue Position

Our district needs jobs if we ever hope to escape the clutches of this economic downturn. While a single House of Representatives member cannot create jobs on their own, they can certainly work to promote jobs in their district. Our district is blessed with a great number of resources. One important resource is the Port of Mobile. As someone who comes from a family with deep roots in international trade, I see the endless possibilities our Port offers our district. Add that to the thousands of motivated and skilled workers already living in our area, and we are a powder keg of economic growth waiting to explode.
