Issue Position

Bob Schroeder and his running mate Charlotte Vandervalk have both seen firsthand how the decisions made in Trenton can hurt local property taxpayers. That's why they will push for fundamental changes to the property tax system to make it more fair and affordable for all homeowners -- while making sure the local taxes we pay stay right here in our local communities. Most importantly, Charlotte and Bob will work to change the state education formula to make sure our schools get back more of the tax dollars we send to Trenton -- and help reduce the need for local districts to raise property taxes.
