Rep. Farenthold Comments on the End of the Qadhafi Regime in Libya

Congressman Blake Farenthold (TX-27) released the following statement Thursday in reaction to the announcement that former Libyan leader Muammar Qadhafi has been killed:

"The death of Muammar Qadhafi marks the end of more than four decades of government sponsored terrorism and ushers in a new era of hope and opportunity for the people of Libya and the world. My prayer is that the Libyan people can rebuild their nation and become an example of a free and democratic government that will work to bring peace to a troubled region."
