Brown Statement On Labor Day

Statement

Date: Sept. 5, 2011
Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Labor Unions

U.S. Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) issued the following statement today on Labor Day:

"On this Labor Day, we need to remember the millions of Americans who are out of work, can't find a job or have simply given up. There is no more critical priority than creating jobs and restoring prosperity. I have put together a program of legislative proposals designed to increase employment in Massachusetts by reducing regulation, cutting taxes and creating incentives in the life sciences and biotech industry. We're Americans first, and I look forward to working on a bipartisan basis to pass these proposals and others that will stimulate the economy and put the country back to work."
