Issue Position

Minnesota's workers are the backbone of our economy. To keep our economy operating at its top capacity, we need to ensure that workers enjoy the full protection of our country's labor laws. Workers should always receive good American wages and benefits for a hard day's work. They should have access to the equipment they need to safely complete their assignments and have the choice to form and participate in a union. As a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee I will fight for proposals that level the playing field for workers and provide support for workers who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own.
