Congressman Renacci Honors Nation's Leaders

Statement

Congressman Jim Renacci (OH-16) today released the following statement in honor of President's Day:

"On this President's Day, I take the time to pause and reflect upon the great honor I feel to be able to represent Ohio's 16th district in Congress. As the nation celebrates President's Day, let us all remember the honor and courage demonstrated by those who have held our country's highest office.

Let it also remind us of the challenges that leaders before us have overcome. At a time when our nation finds itself in a spending-driven debt crisis, marked by historic unemployment, our country's leadership must work together to cut spending and spur economic growth and job creation. Now is not the time for party politics, now is the time for action. To continue the health of this great nation, I remain committed to working with the other members of Congress to stop Washington's reckless spending spree and get America back on a path to fiscal responsibility."
