Kline Commends Judicial Ruling on Health Care Law

Statement

U.S. House Education and the Workforce Committee Chairman John Kline (R-MN) issued the following statement today after a federal judge in Florida ruled the Democrats' health care law is unconstitutional:

"To believe the Democrats' health care law does not destroy jobs and does not vastly expand the power of the federal government over personal health care decisions is to ignore reality. At a time when our economy is struggling and families are looking for commonsense solutions to lower health care costs, it is obvious why states, small business owners, and private citizens are looking for relief. I welcome today's decision as the latest affirmation that ObamaCare is deeply flawed and in need of repeal. The House of Representatives has passed legislation to repeal the Democrats' health care law and the Senate should listen to the American people who are demanding it do the same."
