Representative Sandy Adams (FL-24) issued the following statement regarding the tragic shooting of Representative Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ), her staff and innocent bystanders in Tucson, Arizona:

"I am horrified by the senseless attack on Representative Gabrielle Giffords, members of her staff and the innocent people who came to watch her speak. My thoughts and prayers go out to Representative Giffords, her family and all who were injured or killed on this tragic day."
