Issue Position

America must continue to be the world leader in space exploration. Kennedy Space Center is an economic engine for the 24th district and all of Central Florida. One of my top priorities is to minimize the gap between the Shuttle program and Constellation program in order to protect jobs at Kennedy Space Center and in businesses across the state. Furthermore, NASA's human space flight program is not only important for creating and protecting jobs, it also advances science to address important issues facing our nation - from national security to alternative energy to health care.

The space program represents the best of what America can achieve, and I fully support the initiatives which propel our country towards new discoveries and new vistas.
