Issue Position

Higher taxes make life much more difficult for the hard-working people of our state - and they keep South Carolina from being able to attract and retain jobs. We must diligently look for ways to lower the tax burden on the people of South Carolina. However, it is vital to keep government spending down as well. Lowering taxes and reducing spending will only work to encourage businesses to consider investing in our state.
