I am dedicated to working on behalf of our nation's seniors and committed to strengthening Medicare and Social Security. Iowa is an aging state, and seniors' issues are of the utmost importance to Iowa families.

The health care reform law has many provisions that will help Iowa's seniors. Supported by the AARP, this law will help ensure that more money is spent on benefits and care. For Medicare enrollees, the health reform bill lowers prescription drug costs, makes preventive care free, ensures that you can keep your doctor, improves the quality of your care, and extends the program's solvency by nearly a decade.
