Senate Approves Stengel Nomination

Washington-The United States Senate today approved the nomination of Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas Judge Lawrence F. Stengel to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Congressman Joe Pitts (R, PA-16) issued the following statement.

"Judge Stengel has served Lancaster County well over the last two decades. And he will bring that experience and wisdom to the federal bench where it is so desperately needed. I am pleased that the Senate put politics aside to approve his nomination. He will make a great district judge," said Congressman Pitts.
