Herseth Sandlin Statement on the Signing of Emergency Border Security Law

Today, Representative Herseth Sandlin released the following statement on the Emergency Border Security Supplemental Appropriations Act she supported and that was signed into law by President Obama today.
"Strengthening border security with these needed resources is vital to our national security and to reestablishing respect for our immigration laws. This act, which is fully paid-for, provides a total of $600 million to strengthen border security, combat illegal immigration, protect communities and reduce drug trafficking along our Southwest border," said Herseth Sandlin.
