Issue Position

I am profoundly concerned about the financial health of our country. For far too long our state government has failed to rein in spending that continues to increase the state debt. Both parties must come together to balance the state budget, keep taxes low and cooperate with each other to find fiscally responsible solutions to the challenges of improving our way of life. Since the inception of my campaign, I have demonstrated my unwavering resolve to exercise fiscal responsibility by publically committing NOT to accept so-called "Clean Elections" taxpayer matching money for my campaign.
