Issue Position: 10th Amendment/State Sovereignty

Issue Position

I believe in a strict adherence to the Constitution and as such we must stand up to the Federal Government by joining other states in enforcing state's rights! We must let it be known we will not be tread on by the Federal Government and we will exercise our state's rights under the 10th amendment which states:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

If we continue down the path of uncontrolled expansion and mandates from the federal government, pretty soon the states will be little more than agents responsible for the extraction of federal taxes from its citizens.
