Issue Position

Whether it is buying a home, a car, or even simply using a personal credit card to buy small items, our friends and neighbors are often offered deals that are too good to be true. When one particularly bad example was brought to Jean's attention, she went to work in Olympia to create tools for individuals to protect their own credit. Because of Jean's work, you now have better tools to control your own credit. She will continue fighting to protect consumers from attempts to take advantage of them, from protecting college students from predatory credit card companies to ensuring that senior citizens aren't taken advantage of when selling their homes.
