The mountain pine beetle has killed and will kill hundreds of acres of Lodgepole and Ponderosa Pine trees in our forests. We can get people back to work and improve the health of our forests by thinning. We can turn the wood product into biofuel to heat our homes and public buildings. This will reduce our carbon footprint and dependence on foreign oil at the same time.
