Second District Congressional candidate, U.S. Army Reservist and former U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin today issued the following statement applauding the Supreme Court's 5-4 decision in McDonald v. Chicago:

"I applaud the Supreme Court's ruling today in McDonald. The Court made clear what many of us have long believed: the Second Amendment applies to state and local governments, not just the Federal government."
