Press Release

Date: Jan. 27, 2010
Location: Washington, DC

The President will do well tonight to focus on job creation and economic issues during his State of the Union Address, according to Idaho Senator Mike Crapo. Crapo, who will be in the U.S. House chamber for the speech tonight, will be listening for how the President will address jobs, out of control spending, and how he will work in an open and bipartisan manner with the American people and Republicans.

"Our nation has countless challenges, but our focus must be on federal policies that do not hinder job creation, enforce budget discipline and address our sluggish economy," Crapo said. "Those issues must be prioritized by the Congress."
