Lamborn Statement On Compromise Spending Bill

"I am disappointed that the compromise stimulus package which is emerging from close-door sessions today is still primarily pork, and not a real job creations bill as originally intended. There is a missed opportunity here. I would have liked to deliver to the president a bill concentrating on spending for roads and bridges, combined with tax cuts for middle-class families and small businesses. Unfortunately, it looks like the Democrats will pass a bill that is little more than a wish list of liberal pet projects." - Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO-05)
