SENATOR MARTINEZ HONORED AS GUARDIAN OF SMALL BUSINESS

U.S. Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL) today thanked that National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) for naming him a Guardian of Small Business. NFIB gave Senator Martinez a 100 percent score based on his voting record on issues pertaining to America's small business sector.

"Looking out for our nation's small business owners is a high priority. Small business owners benefit the economy and enhance the communities they serve," said Martinez. "I am honored to receive this award."

The NFIB was founded in 1943 as a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with offices in Washington, D.C. and all 50 state capitals.
