Dreier Votes to Fund Troops and Support Veterans

Congressman Dreier voted this week to fund our troops and expand the education benefits our veterans receive. Dreier voted for H.R. 2642, which provides critical funding for our troops on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan, and modernizes the Montgomery GI Bill by allowing service members to transfer their education benefits to a spouse or child. "Our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan need and deserve bipartisan support and this bill gives it to them. It also includes a sweeping modernization of the GI Bill and the benefits it provides to our veterans. I am proud to have supported this legislation and believe it will help provide a bright future for military families."
