Statement from Governor Beshear regarding Transportation Announcement

"Today's announcement demonstrates clearly that we mean what we say. If we are to create a culture of integrity in the Transportation Cabinet and throughout state government, if we are to shore up the public's trust in our ability to look after their interests, we must hold ourselves accountable to a standard of conduct that is more stringent than ever before. And we must expect and demand that all of our people adhere to that standard. Secretary Prather is setting that example. I support his actions and fully back the leadership he is providing at the Transportation Cabinet during this critical time."
