There are still 1.7 million men, women, and children in Georgia who are without healthcare. Affordable and accessible healthcare must be provided to all citizens. This is why I support Health Care Reform. However, I am concerned about the current passage of the Health Care Reform bills in Washington. In the current bill, some states are exempted from paying their fair share and the cost of this bill remains a concern for many Americans. I intend to conduct thoughtful research with the input of the citizens of the Fourth Congressional District to provide a knowledgeable and relentless voice to the health care debate. Healthcare should be a right, not a privilege.
